Farm-grown Genovese
Organic plants, shipped living. Seeds, slips, and bushes — ready to pinch, pesto, and plate.
Why Folia
We raise a single cultivar of Genovese basil in living soil, under glass. No peat bombs, no supermarket stretch, no plants that collapse on the windowsill.
Every order leaves the greenhouse the morning it ships. You cook with it the same week — sometimes the same night.
Choose a plant
Aguadilla small farm. Harvested Tuesday and Thursday.
The difference
Mineral-rich mix, no peat pellets. Roots stay vigorous after they leave the greenhouse.
Packed standing, shipped overnight. Plants arrive green, not folded in a box.
Pinch the medium and large the evening they arrive. Seeds and slips catch up fast.
Light, water, and how to pinch so the plant bushes instead of bolting.
If it arrives stressed or fails in the first month, we replace it. No photographs required.
Beneficial insects, airflow, and one cultivar. The leaves are meant to be eaten.
Care
Six hours of direct sun, or a bright south window. Rotate the pot once a week.
When the top inch is dry. Soak, then drain. Never leave the saucer full overnight.
Cut just above a leaf pair, from the top. Regular pinching keeps it from flowering.
Shop
Five sizes. Same cultivar. Ships Tuesday and Thursday. Living guarantee on every order.
